Today, as part of our topic 'People who help us', we invited in one of our parents who is an officer in the Royal Navy. The children were fascinated to hear about all of the crazy things Mrs Rudd did on the ship e.g. jump off the side into the water and jump out of a helicopter. The children tried on the uniform and even got to hold the ceremonial sword! I think we have some recruits in the making!
