Riverside Community Nursery School

Riverside Nursery offers places for 3-5 year olds and is situated in Riverside Primary School. We are an early years unit and work closely with the Foundation Stage children which enables the older children to become good role-models for the younger children and allows different learning opportunities for all abilities. The Early Years Unit includes 3 classrooms and a nursery which includes 2 smaller rooms, a creative area and an excellent outside facility.

Tamar Bridge Trip

Nursery had a fantastic trip to the Tamar Bridge today. Where possible we stayed in the shade and kept hydrated all day. Our guide ‘Mark’ was very informative and full of knowledge about Brunel. We sketched a design of a bridge, walked halfway along the footpath and explored the information center, then we enjoyed our lunch and had a play in the park.
