Riverside Nursery offers places for 3-5 year olds and is situated in Riverside Primary School. We are an early years unit and work closely with the Foundation Stage children which enables the older children to become good role-models for the younger children and allows different learning opportunities for all abilities. The Early Years Unit includes 3 classrooms and a nursery which includes 2 smaller rooms, a creative area and an excellent outside facility.
As part of our topic People Who Help Us, we added some emergency vehicles to ice. Children were encouraged to investigate the texture, as well as the challenge of getting the vehicle out of the ice.
