Riverside Nursery offers places for 3-5 year olds and is situated in Riverside Primary School. We are an early years unit and work closely with the Foundation Stage children which enables the older children to become good role-models for the younger children and allows different learning opportunities for all abilities. The Early Years Unit includes 3 classrooms and a nursery which includes 2 smaller rooms, a creative area and an excellent outside facility.
The Nursery children were given a task to match 2d shapes in the classroom environment. They were given one of the 5 basic 2d shapes and asked to hunt for something in the classroom that was the same shape.
