Riverside Nursery offers places for 3-5 year olds and is situated in Riverside Primary School. We are an early years unit and work closely with the Foundation Stage children which enables the older children to become good role-models for the younger children and allows different learning opportunities for all abilities. The Early Years Unit includes 3 classrooms and a nursery which includes 2 smaller rooms, a creative area and an excellent outside facility.
Today the Nursery children made some delicious vegetable soup. They all learnt about where the ingredients came from, chopped the ingredients with child safety knives, mixed the ingredients, put it into a soup maker and ate it all up!
