Today, the Nursery children learned all about Remembrance day, we talked about why we celebrate this day and what the symbol of the poppy represents. The children thought hard about our men, women and animals that fought for us during the war during our two minutes silence, made some wonderful poppy crafts and made a poppy wreath to prompt others to remember too. We wore our poppies proudly yesterday. Lest we forget.
