Riverside Community Nursery School

Riverside Nursery offers places for 3-5 year olds and is situated in Riverside Primary School. We are an early years unit and work closely with the Foundation Stage children which enables the older children to become good role-models for the younger children and allows different learning opportunities for all abilities. The Early Years Unit includes 3 classrooms and a nursery which includes 2 smaller rooms, a creative area and an excellent outside facility.

Repeating Patterns

This week the children have been learning about repeating patterns. They have all tried very hard to make repeating patterns using different mediums. We have made repeating patterns using bead threading, mega blocks, peg boards and even ourselves.
