Riverside Community Nursery School

Riverside Nursery offers places for 3-5 year olds and is situated in Riverside Primary School. We are an early years unit and work closely with the Foundation Stage children which enables the older children to become good role-models for the younger children and allows different learning opportunities for all abilities. The Early Years Unit includes 3 classrooms and a nursery which includes 2 smaller rooms, a creative area and an excellent outside facility.

LIPS: Nursery Rhymes

Our LIPS project this term has been learning this four Nursery Rhymes:

Humpy Dumpty

Incy Wincy Spider

Hey Diddle Diddle

Pop goes the Weasel

The children have enjoyed learning these rhymes through props and videos and as you can see from the pictures, the children have enjoyed acting the songs out using masks.
