Riverside Nursery offers places for 3-5 year olds and is situated in Riverside Primary School. We are an early years unit and work closely with the Foundation Stage children which enables the older children to become good role-models for the younger children and allows different learning opportunities for all abilities. The Early Years Unit includes 3 classrooms and a nursery which includes 2 smaller rooms, a creative area and an excellent outside facility.
Today we had a Greek themed day for Creative week where we learnt some facts about Greece and where it is on a map. We ate some dips (hummus, tzatziki) and pitta bread for our snack, we even did some Greek Zorba dancing too.
